THE AUTHOR

Chris Payne is a retired businessman who grew up in a family of educators who revered science. He decided to test whether or not God is real at a young age and God made it clear to him that He IS. Chris concluded that science should confirm God. If it doesn’t, the science is incomplete.

After years of trying to conform to fundamental Christianity, Chris discovered that some Christians have awakened to what they believe is the original Christianity. The result was bringing him back to the God he knew as a child.

Chris was the primary author on two other books, “Strategic Capital Planning for Healthcare Organizations”, published in 1995 by Irwin Professional Publishing, and “The Belvedere Club” published in 2024 by Mission Point Press.

He lives with his wife of 50+ years, Ginger, in Evergreen, CO in the winter and Charlevoix, MI in the summer. They have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.

Spent 36 years as a financial advisor to non-profit healthcare institutions as a principal at Ponder & Co.

Received an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA from Michigan State University.
